Callicarpa Bodinieri / Beautyberry
No one ever notices this plant until the berries appear in fall. Then, for months, people can't take their eyes off it. Shown here is Callicarpa Bodinieri 'Profusion'.
Details
- Although I've seen size predictions of 6-8' tall and wide, this one is still more like 4x4 after seven years in one place.
Care
- I water only during extended droughts.
- I prune errant branches some time in winter.
- It gets fresh organic mulch every spring.
