CL writes: "Just a couple of photos from some of the lawn replacement that is going on at Poison Ivy Acres. The before shot shows how the front entry looked when we first bought the house and the new garden shot shows how it looked after I started replacing the lawn. The sunflowers were planted by the chipmunks or squirrels and I left them to flower — a good example of garden serendipity! I have removed about half of the lawn around the house and have turned the other half into organically managed turf, or I should say turf-plus, because I don't stress about weeds.
