One of a tiny group of ornamental grasses that tolerates much shade, it also sports stunning gold foliage and a green stripe. Native to Japan.

- Will spread (though slowly) so leave room for it fill in and out.
Care
- None.
- But if you decide to divide it, do it in the spring.
