About Me
Let's see. I'm a Gardening Coach, GardenRant blogger, Master Gardener, gardening writer, and activist for urban and suburban greening. But the details are in the links:
- My Garden Coaching has been featured
in the New York Times, and on "CBS Sunday Morning".
- The Sustainable Gardening Blog is a companion to this site, with news and features about sustainable gardening and the occasional off-topic adventure.
- "The Gardening Coach" column appears in two Maryland newspapers. My articles in magazines aren't on line, so you'll have to take my word for it.
- I write and produce the rowdy, award-winning blog GardenRant with my co-conspirators, grinning in the photo right.
- I'm a co-founder and webmaster of DC Urban Gardeners and contributor to their blog, DC Urban Gardener News.
- A very cool video website, MonkeySee.com, recently launched with me as their gardening editor. My own first video for the site is about Sustainable Gardening - no surprise.
- I still rabble-rouse for environmental causes in my town, but finally stepped down as president of the Takoma Horticulture Club.
- And you bet - I'm a sustainable gardener. Help yourself to a tour of my garden, located in the Washington, D.C. area, Zone 7A.
